Pollock Krasner House & Study Center contains the residence and studio that were home and office to influential modern abstract artist Jackson Pollock during the time when he created many of the masterpieces that helped revolutionize the art world. Today, visitors can tour the home and take a peek into the artist's studio, providing a first-hand experience of the works of both Pollock and his wife, Lee Krasner. Nearby, the study center and research library provide scholars and students with a wealth of material on 20th century American art, Abstract Expressionism and the famous artists. Situated in The Springs, the home is west of Acabonack Harbor near Kingstown.
Hours of Operation:
Open May, Sep and Oct: Thurs. – Sat. 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tours run hourly, reservations required. Open Jun – Aug: Thurs. – Sat. 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tour runs at noon, reservations required.
